Waterproof phones are not new, but the F705i from Japan can be proud to be the slimmest of its kind to date. Meeting both IPX5 and IPX7 waterproof standards, you will still be able to continue a conversation even after leaving the handset underwater for half an hour at a maximum depth of 1 meter. Other features include Super Clear Voice, Super Clear Mike, automatic volume adjustment, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and Quick Zoom functionality. No word on pricing as at press time though, and this will probably function for the Japan market only.
