Fujifilm will be replacing its FinePix Z5fd with the FinePix Z100fd, and this new ultra-compact trendsetter will come in a quartet of color combinations for those who want a fun and sassy compact digital camera which shoots pretty decent images (by casual standards anyway). The FinePix Z100fd measures 19.8mm thin and packs in 8 megapixels of goodness – the minimum standard these days. Since a higher megapixel count isn’t always better for the compact digital camera segment, it is the extra features that make or break a camera in this class. Let’s take a look at what the FinePix Z100fd has on offer.
- 2.7″ 230k pixel LCD scratch-free glass display
- Sensitivity settings of up to ISO 1600
- Dual Image Stabilization
- Face Detection Technology (up to 10 faces per scene)
- Automatic Red Eye Removal
- Blog Mode for easy uploading
- Photo Folder Management
- i-Flash Intelligent Flash
- Dual Shot Mode
- An SD/SDHC memory card slot
The FinePix Z100fd will hit the market this January for $249.95.
