
General Electric have just announced no less than 7 new digital cameras at their European launch in London. With a rainbow of colours on offer, including pinks, purples, yellow and green, the new GE range will certainly liven up the cold winter months. Top of the tree is the promising E1050 camera, which features HDMI connectivity and a sexy touch-screen interface. Also worth looking out for is the new GE G2, one of the slimmest and lightest cameras on the market.
GE’s original aggressive entry last year into the digital camera world didn’t really bear fruit, with poor performance and patchy image quality spoiling what looked good on paper. Let’s hope they’ve spent the intervening year fixing those fundamental issues. More at PhotographyBlog
