Iomega upgrades eGo line

Iomega has introduced an upgrade to its eGo line of portable hard drives with a model that has a maximum capacity of 250GB as well as the addition of dual USB 2.0/FireWire 400 interfaces which allow it to be connected to a range of systems. The 250GB model, while introduced in Paris last September, is finally making its way to the US market. Since these new eGo drives, just like their older counterparts, derive power off the host bus, there is no need to lug around a separate power supply. The 250 GB dual-interface models will retail for $229.95 while the 160 GB version is priced at $159.95. Those who want the USB-only version can pick up the 160GB and 250GB models for $139.99 and $209.95 respectively.
