LaCie and Samsung partnership yield results

LaCie and Samsung came together to work on implementing 1.3″ hard drive technology for LaCie micro storage devices. LaCie’s tiniest (and aptly named, I might add) Little Disk will come in 30GB and 40GB flavors, while the credit card-sized USB Key Max will also receive an update. Both devices derives power from USB 2.0 and comes with their own connection cable, making them viable ultra-portable storage solutions. The 1.3″ drive was specifically designed to bring the most efficient use of capacity per volume to home users, sharing the same dimensions as that of Compact Flash II cards. The mentioned devices are preformatted FAT32 for cross platform versatility.
