Lenovo Quits Cell Phone Business

Looks like Lenovo has thrown in the towel for the cell phone business as well as the Windows Mobile market after bleeding a large amount of money in the 2007 calendar year. It will sell off its loss-making business for approximately $100 million to a private equity firm controlled by its parent Legend Holdings. Does this mean with one less player in the Windows mobile market, the pie has just gotten bigger for everybody else?
