Meccano Spykee Cell, Bluetooth-Controlled Robot

The Spykee Cell is another build-it-yourself robot from Meccano. It is remote controlled via Bluetooth (from a cellphone). The robot can move and snap pictures and transmit them back to the cellphone for permanent storage. The loudspeaker module allows it to become a hands-free set, if you’re into speaking and hearing through a robot… The doc says that this is for kids from 8 to young adults.

A word of caution: if your 8-year old kid is geeky and has a decent Bluetooth cellphone he might turn this into a terminator… Just kidding.
