MS compensates customers with free game Microsoft’s online gaming service, Xbox Live, was recently plagued with problems for several days, and the Redmond giant has extended an olive branch by offering downloadable game to over 8 million worldwide users of the network. According to Xbox Live General Manager Mark Whitten, the problems stemmed from a “massive increase” in new users of the service over the holiday season. Either MS was unprepared for the surge of video game hardware and software over the holidays, or this was just a convenient excuse. What do you think?
