What was once known as O2 Asia is now called MWG, and this company is currently working on a couple of handsets that will be launched later this year. A couple of these include the Zinc II (as shown on your right) along with the Atom V. The former will retain its original slider form factor, but boasts more processing muscle thanks to Samsung’s 500Mhz processor, HSDPA support, tri-band UMTS and quad-band GSM, GPS navigation and a 2 megapixel camera. As for the Atom V, it shares many of the Zinc II’s specifications save for differences such as the Intel PXA 520MHz processor and the lack of a QWERTY keypad in lieu of a jog dial. There is no word on pricing as at press time.
