Olympus has just rolled out its high-speed Type M+ Series xD-Picture Card that claims to be 50% faster (when it comes to data transfer speeds anyways) compared to its predecessor, the Type M Series xD-Picture Card – when capturing images with an Olympus digital camera. This new breed of memory cards will make its way to retail stores this April, and is backwards compatible with Olympus digital cameras which rely on the Type M Series xD-Picture Cards for memory storage. No pricing details have been released as at press time. What you see above is the regular xD Picture Card.
