Don’t dream about avoiding traffic jams quite yet, this one-person jet-powered wing can’t propel a person from the ground into to the sky. Instead pilot Yves Rossy needs a lift in an airplane, then starts the wing at an altitude of 4km (13,000ft). While this really fun to use (it certainly is), not everyone has Yves military pilot experience. In case you wonder, he lands using a parachute, and flies straight for about 4 to 6 minutes.
