Philips Ambisound Home Theater System HTS6100 and HTS6515

[CES 2008] Featuring its proprietary award-winning technology Ambisound Philips is launching two new modesl in its Home Theater System line of products. The Ambisound technology delivers a true 5.1-channel audio performance from one unit, replacing traditional systems based on separate surround sound loudspeakers.

HTS6100 DVD home theater system’s features include a DVD player, an iPod dock and HDMI connectivity with high-definition video upconversion. (see photo above)

HTS6515D also features a 5.1 surround-sound experience, HDMI digital connectivity and an integrated iPod dock. It has a vertical design (see photo in the full post)

Philips’ HTS6100 and HTS6515D will be available in May 2008.
