Called Pinnacle Video Transfer, this small device can record a video source directly into an MPEG4/H.264 format that is said to be compatible with mobile devices like the PSP or the iPod video. The device is said to be able to record onto any USB 2.0 storage device, without the assistance of a computer. (We suppose that the USB device must be Windows Mass-Storage compliant, but we don’t know for sure).
