DETECT is an Alzheimer early detection system. It works by running a 10-minute test that measures reaction time and memory that would reveal symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. It is reported that this 10-minute test is as accurate as a 90-minute pen+paper one. This is another example of how tech can boost “productivity” and lower the cost of something this important.
This system should be commercialized this year – More info at Zenda Tech.
