Convergence devices rarely excel in all its functions, but if you aren’t a purist then the Razor Horizon Home Theater might me a viable solution for those who live in cramped spaces. This device might not win any points when it comes to design, but in terms of functionality, who can argue with support for DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, MP3, VCD, SVCD, WMA, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, MPEG 4, and JPEG formats among others? Not only that, the $399.95 pretty much seals the deal for me, considering how you’re getting an entire sound system complete with a DVD player (not that you don’t have one already) in a package that fits nicely underneath your wall-mounted flat panel TV.
