The Eee PC has been a phenomenal seller to say the least since it was released, and word on the street has it that there will be a touchscreen version coming up sometime later this year. It is tipped that the 9″ panel version will come with the aforementioned touchscreen display without pushing the final price up too much (an extra $15 at most is more like it). What do you think of this rumor – does it hold water? Is a touchscreen display actually that cheap to include and implement? If that’s the case, I’d automatically demand further price reductions on all other touchscreen-based devices that are currently flooding the market. More Asus Eee PC stories here.
