Sometimes, robots get a wee bit too realistic that they become creepy. Take for example the Sega Toys Dream Cat. Debuting at the Tokyo Toy Forum this week, it will be able to respond in Japanese according to how you treat it. Pet or scratch its neck and you will get “Pet me softly” and “Give me more, give me more” – stuff that sounds totally out of whack.
