Swissgear 7-to-4 Port Mini USB Hub

[CES 2008] Swissgear has just released its 7-to-4 Port Mini USB Hub that consists of a couple of parts. What you see above is the device in its full glory on the left and with the top section detached on the right. Perfect for those who juggle with tons of USB devices in their homes and office, and should you need to pack up and travel, just detach the 4-port Mini USB Hub, pack it into your luggage and you’re good to go. I did have some trouble removing the 4-port Mini USB Hub from its “mothership”, so to speak, but then again that’s a good thing as it would be pretty hard to detach it by accident. Do you think a couple of USB hubs purchased separately will amount to the $49.99 price tag this has?
