Sword Lamp Lights Up Your Room

We all know that swords are very dangerous things, especially in the wrong (and right) hands, so it makes me wonder which designer had a violent moment of inspiration to come up with the Sword Lamp. Meant for decorativ purposes only (duh), it retails for a whopping $296.59. Which begs the question – should somebody break into your home in the middle of the night, do you actually break a lamp over his head the traditional way, or use this as a form of self defense?
