For folks who have recently purchased Windows Vista and have heard rumors of Windows 7 being released early next year, hold your ground. Microsoft has already issued an announcement from a company spokesperson that Vista’s successor would be way too far away for a commercial release next year. It will take approximately three years to develop, so I guess that’s a pretty safe bet that Vista will be around for still quite some time. Not as long as Windows XP, but it won’t be so soon before a successor comes around either. As for me, I’m still giving my XP plenty of love – how about you?
