[MWC] Emporia paraded its LIFEplus cell phone at MWC ’08 that comes with an emergency button which will force the handset to keep trying to dial a saved number if nobody answers the first time round – at least, until the other person answers or you run out of battery. There are a total of five slots available for you to store, so hopefully one of them will keep their phone turned on. The Emergency button is pretty nifty as it works even when the keypad is locked and the user has had his/her line suspended or if he/she is in an area where there is no network operator service. The handset will then use the international emergency number instead. Other features include a hands-free kit and a slider that operates important menu items.
