Looks like folks who are signing up with 3′s mobile broadband service will be getting a free laptop as well, although don’t expect the latest and greatest model but instead one that does basic tasks just fine, i.e. surfing the Net, churning out some documents and making the occassional PowerPoint presentation. Unfortunately, the £350 will only land in your lap if you sell your soul to 3 for 18 months at £35 monthly. The USB dongle offers 2.8Mbps HSDPA connectivity with a maximum data allowance of 3GB and 200 texts per month. Anyone would like to see an offer like this Stateside?
