If you happen to have a digital camera powered by AA batteries (like I do with my PowerShot A720 IS), here’s a green tip: recycle those exhausted batteries! While those batteries cannot muster enough power to let rip another flash, they can still be used in other low-powered devices. In fact, I am still using that so-called “dead” AA battery in my wireless Logitech mouse for a couple of months now, and the mouse is still going great without flashing a low-battery light yet. I suppose the same applies with other devices such as remote controls for the TV and stereo. Do you have any other tips to share with our readers on recycling old batteries? Kindly leave a comment
