The Health Guard concept aims to keep tabs on the elderly by monitoring what they consume, be it expired foods, medicine, possible allergens and even nutritional info. This information pad is hooked up to any refrigerator while a detachable RFID reader is carried around for use at places like the local market or grocery store. Needless to say, it utilizes a touch sensitive display along with a slew of universal icons that makes it a snap to use. Other features include a memo pad function and a voice recorder that allows them to store voice reminders.
