Intel Centrino Chips To Surpass 3.0GHz Mark

This spring will see Intel, er, spring into action with its next-generation Centrino notebook platform that will surpass the 3.0GHz mark, bringing even more computing power wherever you go. This new processor will feature a 1066MHz front-side bus. Needless to say, you will be seeing this new processor in action inside Apple’s MacBook and MacBook Pro offerings eventually. They’ll cost a bomb though, so now would be a good time to start saving already.
