
JVC offers a couple more hard drive camcorders for everyone, in the form of the GZ-HD5 and GZ-HD6. These new Everios claim to offer industry-leading picture quality in a compact form factor, measuring nearly 45% smaller than their predecessors. Some of the shared features found on either device are :-
- Fujinon HD lens
- Progressive scan 3CCD imaging system
- JVC HD Gigabrid engine for full HD recording
- 1080[ 60fps output via HDMI 1.3
- microSD memory card slot
The 120GB GZ-HD6 is capable of storing up to 10 hours of video, while the GZ-HD5 has half the storage amount. Interested folks will be able to pick up th eblack JVC GZ-HD6 and the silver GZ-HD5this March for $1,399.99 and $1,199.99, respectively.
