[MWC] LG just announced its LG-KT610 candybar cell phone that comes in a rather unorthodox form factor, featuring a 2.4″ VGA display that flips open to reveal a QWERTY keypad that makes it a snap to compose and send messages on-the-go. It will run on the Symbian OS v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1, boasting the following specifications :-
- HSDPA connectivity at 3.6Mbps
- GPS navigation capabilities
- Push email functionality
No idea on how much this will cost, but don’t expect it to be easy on your pockets though. This looks as though it targets business suits more than home users, although a power geek certainly wouldn’t mind using one.
