Mecha-like 3G Phone Launched In Japan

Everyone knows that Japan is the land of sushi, sake, giant monsters and transforming robots. Softbank has miniaturized the robot part with its new Toshiba 815T PB clamshell cell phone. This is a full 3D handset, featuring a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and a QVGA display. It looks rather weird with all the limbs displayed in full glory, but at least you no longer need to be content with those 80s TMNT action figures sitting miserably on your desk. I like the way the cell phone’s display is used to show the face of your robot. Would be better if those limbs contained some sort of functionality instead of being mere add-ons.
