NavGate 500 Sneaks Into Europe

Looks like Pioneer will be bringing in the AVIC-F500BT into Europe, save for the fact that it has been branded as the NavGate 500. This GPS navigation devices comes with a 5.8″ WVGA 800 x 480 resolution display, which ought to be large enough for virtually anyone. Other features include :-

  • Hands-free Bluetooth kit from Parrot
  • RDS/TMC module for traffic information
  • Voice commands
  • 600MHz processor
  • SiRF Star III GPS chip

The NavGate 500 will ship with maps form TeleAtlas, encompassing 30 European countries. It will be released this May and retail for €699.
