NEC has dropped the MultiSync LCD5220 52″ display that was developed based on a professional-grade panel. The LCD5220 is meant for use in digital signage applications and corporate boardrooms, featuring a full high-definition, wide-screen display and advanced Digital Signage Technology Suite (DSTS) with over 30 features in total. What makes the LCD5220 eye-catching is the bezel that measures a mere 0.7″. The Multisync LCd5220 supports 1080i/p, 720p, 480i/p resolution and boasts a brightness level of 700 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. April 2008 has been set as its release date, retailing for $8,149.99.
