Panasonic Rolls Out 7 New Models

Panasonic has unveiled seven new cell phones in Japan, catering for NTT DoCoMo Inc, SoftBank Mobile Corp and KDDI Corp. These new models all feature enhanced image quality and 1Seg reception sensitivity in a slimmed down package. One interesting addition would be the inclusion of Panasonic’s Mobile PEAKS processor that aims to offer superior image quality – a mobile vesion of the processor that is currently used in Matsushita plasma and LCD TVs. 1Seg broadcasting has also been given a boost from 15fps to 30fps thanks to image interpolation technology. The seven newly introduced handsets are the P905iTV, FOMA P705i, FOMA P705iµ and PROSOLID µ handsets and the W61P handset for KDDI.
