Seoul Blanketed With WiBro

Koreans are a very blessed bunch – especially those who live in Seoul. This mega city is the beneficiary of a city-wide WiBro blanket, making it possible for users to remain online despite zooming down the freeway at 100 kmh. It features an average download speed of 3Mbps, making it superior to HSDPA’s average of 1Mbps. Unfortunately, you won’t see WiBro making its way around the world too soon as many parts of the globe are rolling out 3G services, presumably because they don’t have the necessary infrastructure and find the entry cost of WiBro too high. This is nothing but good news for tech geeks who must remain connected 24/7 at decent speeds.
