Samsung’s new SPH-M520 will be made available via Sprint, featuring a slider handset that targets the entry level and slight power users without offering the full fare that a smartphone has. It is no slouch either, featuring GPS navigation, EV-DO connectivity, Sprint TV and Sprint Music Store compatibility, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth with support for the A2DP wireless stereo profile as well as the ability to surf the Internet, all crammed into a 4″ x 2″ x 0.5″ body. A microSD memory card slot is there to provide a memory bump of up to 4GB, making it perfect for folks who use their cell phones as a primary audio player. Sprint is offering the Samsung SPH-M520 for $49.99 after rebates and a new 2-year contract.
