Thanks to Apple’s iPhone, everyone is pretty hot on touch screen technology these days. Norway’s Elliptic Labs begs to differ with its new touchless user interface technology. This new system can detect movements in 3D without the need for you to even touch the display, and best of all is, you don’t have to be saddled down by special sensors on your hand. All you need to do is point at the screen in order to manipulate the objects in 3D. It cannot be implemented in mobile devices at the moment, but future improvements ought to see a reverse in that situation.
