Vehicle-To-Vehicle Communications

Denso will be testing its vehicle-to-vehicle communication systems in Japan from April this year onwards up till March 2011 – that’s a long time of testing, but when it comes to road safety you can never be too careful. This system enables vehicles to interact with one another through the sending and receiving of information over radio waves. The ultimate aim would be to improve traffic safety, especially in the area of preventing vehicle collisions. The Ultra High Frequency band (between 669 and 679 MHz) will be used in the tests. I’m afraid with all these enhancements, drivers will become even more lax.
