Couch potatoes, look out! The ApriPoko robot could be your fiercest rival when it comes to flipping channels, as this robot was developed specifically to operate different remote controls by observing and asking questions. It features sensors that will be able to detect infrared rays coming out from the remote, so each time you press a button, it will ask “What did you just do?”, so make sure you answer appropriately as ApriPoko commits the relevant details to its memory. The ApriPoko is currently a prototype by Toshiba, and it ought to be a while more before a consumer-friendly version is unveiled.
