Looks like Asus will have to be on their guard as Acer has plans to unleash an Eee PC killer sometime in Q2 or Q3 this year. Apparently, this will not interfere with Acer’s other low-cost, entry-level notebook known as the Packard Bell EasyNote XS (Packard Bell is an Acer subsidiary). If that 7″ model doesn’t ring a bell, how about the Everex CloudBook, NanoBook, or FIC CD260? I can’t wait for this battle to heat up, as the consumers will be the winners here.
