BigDog Quadruped Robot

The BigDog quadruped robot is freaky to look at, and yet there is something about it that makes you want to view the video over and over again. This unique robot is even smart enough to balance itself when kicked from the side (you can view that scene in the video). I must say that it looks like a headless donkey from far away, traversing hills and valleys with relative ease. The new version is able to carry almost 340 pounds – triple its previous weight. I wonder what the military will use this for.
