The Biometric Vault Security Safe helps keep your belongings secure by using fingerprints as the method of authentication. It can store up to 50 fingerprints in its integrated flash memory, and has the backup of internal batteries just in case the A/C power goes off. Other features include a soft spring-loaded door mechanism and LCD screen as well, retailing for $499 a pop. It takes less than a second to verify your identification, although I would have liked to see one that works in tandem with an iris scan.
