Columbus Has New Navigation Solution

Columbus Geographic Systems has just rolled out a new personal navigation solution that targets both the active outdoor and off-road enthusiast. Users will be able to use this new feature to select points of interest on their personal navigation device, and then being guided to that location thanks to its cutting-edge navigation software providing location-based, global positioning system (GPS) mapping, navigation, and information solutions for the off-road environment. The Ranger is compatible with a host of devices including Car PC, PDA, and PND. Guess this makes the lack of a map folding ability no longer a liability for off-road hikers as they no longer have to rely on physical maps to find their way around.
