This June will be pretty interesting as Dell’s Latitude E-series will be arriving then. This information volunteered by Engadget also showed that these new systems will ship with Intel’s new Centrino 2 processors in a brushed-metal surface notebook that has a hinge reminiscent of the XPS line. There will be 5 models in the initial launch, where the E6400 and E6500 will represent the mid-range while the E6400 ATG will oust the Latitude D630 ATG, targeting those who live a rough-and-tumble life. Those on a tight budget can settle for the E5400 and E5500 models which have similar screen sizes but rely on AMD’s processors instead. There is no word on pricing as at press time for all models.
