Are you still reeling from data loss suffered after your hard drive is damaged or died? Well, there is a way to literally raise data from these metal graveyards, thanks to UK-based Retrodata who plans to ship a $7,000 laser-based gadget that enables you to perform your own data recovery from dead/damaged hard drives from next month onwards. Known as System P. EX (Platter Extraction), the device will position laser on 3.5″ hard drive platters and automate the process from there. I say save that $7,000, purchase a good back up system and learn from your past mistakes.
