
Facebook is going to jump onto the instant messaging bandwagon sometime this week by launching its own service, leaving third-party providers out in the cold. That’s the word that is going around tech circles these days anyway, with the service being integrated into the user’s Facebook pages while enabling them to web chat with their Facebook friends. More to come as new developments surface.
