I like Gigabyte’s M704 UMPC that made its rounds during CeBIT this year, as it brings together a computer with a sliding form factor of a cell phone. From the specifications below, this is perfect for the most basic of computing tasks, and would be great to lug around in CES ’09.
- 7″ display at 1,024 x 600 resolution
- Slide out keyboard
- VIA Esther ULV C7-M 1.2GHz processor
- 40/60GB hard drive
- 1.3 megapixel webcam
- WiFi connectivity
- SD memory card slot
No idea on how much one of these puppies cost though.
