
The GPS Ranger now features American Sign Language support, making virtual tours of places more accessible to the deaf and hard-of-hearing, augmented by the present captioning option. Some of the features include :-
- Self-guided visitor experience
- Supports multiple languages and demographics
- Daily updates and content changes
- Wayfinder or directional information
- Environmental and safety messages such as “Where are the bathrooms?”, “Don’t feed the bears!”
Now if only the blind had some sort of audio tool to go along with the GPS Ranger…
