
Now that’s a whole lot of acronyms up there in the title, but for good reason. InnoDisk has just introduced its first 2.5″ SATA solid state drive (SSD) that comes with a whopping 128GB of storage space, laying claim to being the highest capacity SLC NAND flash drive in the market at the moment. Features include a durable outer metal case, self-proclaimed low power consumption, emitting virtually no noise while being more than capable of surviving knocks and drops thanks to its anti-shock features. Sampling will begin this month, with volume shipping to follow in Q2 2008.
