Insect Printer Idea

Guess there isn’t that much gadget wizardry involved here, but imagine one fine day in the near future where you will be able to manipulate insects (and other biological lifeforms) to print out your own instructions? Sure, a whole lot of leaves will have to be sacrificed should you decide to use caterpillars as the medium of choice, which is why I prefer something like ants which are hardworking and able to churn out 20 words-per-minute messages for me without eating up any more leafy greens.
