
Iogear, the company who brought us “germ-free” computer mice, has just been slapped on the wrist with a $208,000 fine from the Environmental Protection Agency since due to the fact that Iogear was practising “unsubstantiated public health claims regarding unregistered products, and their ability to control germs and pathogens”. I always figured out that that was a ploy more than a selling point, so here we are faced with the naked proof. Now go and wash your hands before you handle somebody else’s mouse and/or keyboard.
