The SSD world has just gotten more crowded with OCZ releasing SATA II SSDs that will see action in high-end notebooks, making it the perfect candidate for mobile computing. OCZ claims that this new SSD will come with fast access times and added reliability, stored in a lightweight brushed alloy housing. This SATA II SSD will come with a two million hour mean time before failure (MTBF) which ought to last you a very, very long time before it actually drops dead and expires. There is no word on pricing, but the OCZ SATA II 2.5” SSD measures 100.2mm x 70mm x 9.5mm and tips the scales at 77g.
