The Quicktionary device helps you with your Japanese by providing an instant translation service – all you need to do is run the Quicktionary over a sentence or two of kanji and you will be rewarded with an audio translation or on-screen explanation within a couple of seconds. This extremely niche product isn’t cheap, clocking in at £184 but it sure as heck helps you get out of tight spots in a foreign land with a language that you have no inkling of.
